The GNM course was started in the year 1985 as San joe School of Nursing and BSc Nursing was started in the year 2003. The college is affiliated to Kerala university of Health & Allied Science (KUHAS) , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC). The college has seats for Management Quota , Government Quota & NRI . Government seats are filled through allotments by LBS Centre for Science & Technology . Management seats are filled by PNCMAK allotment. NRI seats are filled through NRI Quota sponsored by NRI 's. The college hostel is functioning very near to college . More than 200 students can easily be accommodated in this hostel. All the students are provided cot , table , chair and cup - boards in the room. Hostel has a ground so that the students can play outdoor games.
