Welcare College of Nursing established in the year 2011 was located at Mulamthuruthy in Ernakulam District . Welcare College of Nursing is a part of Welcare Medical & Educational Trust run by Mr . P .M Sebastian ,the chairman. Focusing on the increasing demand of human resources in the field of medical profession , the trust started it's first batch of BSc Nursing in the academic year 2010 - 2011 with an intake of 40 seats. Later on 2011 -12 academic year Post Basic BSc was started . The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & allied Science(KUHAS) , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC). Welcare College of Nursing has good academic excellence and have all requirements prescribed by the authorities . The college has own parent hospital Welcare Hospital which is situated in Vyttila , Ernakulam. The Principal is Dr.Philomina Jacob and she creates a peaceful atmosphere in the campus. The semester exams are conducted properly in the campus. The college is situated 5 km away from Mulanthuruthy railway station and 6 km away from Chottanikkara bus stand. Hostel facilities are provided for the students who are far away from the college. The hostel is controlled by a female warden and she is from the nearest place of the college. Food is served at correct time intervals among the students in the hostel.
