St Joseph College of nursing was started in the year 2002 at Kothamamgalam in Ernakulam District . BSc Nursing has an intake of 50 seats .Over the years, the college has grown in stature and in the decennial years of it’s existence, college started Post Basic B. Sc Nursing with an intake of 30 Seats and thus added two more feathers in it’s cap.

The college upholds the motto ‘Love Serves’. As Catholic health care providers grounded on gospel values, MSJ education mission aims at striving to continue the healing mission of Jesus through creating empowered, committed, compassionate, skillful, caring, innovative and courageous health care providers who make a difference in building a healthy family, society and nation. There is provision for hostel with all needed facilities which can accommodate 350 students. Renders facilities for indoor and outdoor games, recreation, chapel, reading room, laundry, well furnished mess hall etc.
