College of Nursing ,Nirmala Medical Centre was established in the year 2011 at Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam District . Nirmala Medical Centre is a part of Nirmala Medical Society managed by FCC Sisters. The College is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & Allied Science (KUHAS) , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) & Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC) .

The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & Allied Science (KUHAS) , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) & Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC) . The college started GNM course in the year 2003 and running now onwards with 30 students. BSc Nursing was started in the year 2011 with an annual intake of 50 students from different places in Kerala. The college has well equipped laboratories, furnished class rooms, wide library , broad band internet facility , computer lab and so on. Also the college has proper clinical training to the students at parent hospital Nirmala Hospital and gave training at other Multi Speciality Hospitals . Apart from the academic curriculam , conduct personality development activities and spiritual programs for the well being of the students. The college provide hostel facility inside the campus for the students who are far apart from the college. College provide placement assistance to the students. Around 250 students passed out from the college with high percentage of marks working abroad as well as India under Government & Private Sectors.
