Considering this fact , the Mahatma Gandhi University , Kottayam took the Challenging lead to Start BSc Nursing Course in the year 1993. As a result at 1994 , the first batch started. The College is recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC). Nursing graduates are to hold significant positions in the hospital community and nursing education. Opportunities for further studies in the field are also high. World wide job opportunities such as Nurse Counsellor , Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Advocate , Nurse Midwives etc.. Centre For Professional & Advanced Studies focus on the rapidly changing world , it is only natural that education finds itself in the forefront as an instrument of social change.
