Velankanni Matha College of Nursing was established in the year 2012 by upgrading general nursing program at Thellakom in Kottayam district , Kerala. The College is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & Allied Science (KUHAS) approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC).
Velankanni Matha College of Nursing was established in the year 2012 by upgrading general nursing program at Thellakom in Kottayam district , Kerala. The College is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & Allied Science (KUHAS) approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC). The College provide Professional education in the field of Nursing in a high quality mode to build up and empower the students with self reliance , self skills etc.. Now we are running 6th batch of BSc Nursing with an annual intake of 40 Students from different parts of Kerala. The teaching faculties are dedicated , well experienced and keep a calm atmosphere with the students. Clinical training is provided at parent hospitals named Matha Hospital , Thellakom and Mitera Hospital ,Thellakom. Matha Hospital is a 300 bedded multi specialty hospital with all modern facilities whereas Mitera Hospital is mainly for mother & Child. Co - curricular activities are also provided in the Campus to encourage the students in their personal skills & express their talents. The College provides hostel facilities for girls who are far away from the College. Quality, hygienic & delicious foods are served at the hostel .
