Sree Gokulam Nursing College of Nursing was established in 2009 with an annual intake of 75 B.Sc Nursing. In the year 2011 college started Post Basic BSc Nursing (40 seats) and MSc Nursing course in four specialities (Medical Surgical Nursing - 4, Paediatric Nursing - 4. OBG Nursing - 4 & Community Health Nursing - 4 ).

The college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & Allied Sciences (KUHAS) , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC). Sree Gokulam Nursing College is attached to parent hospital (Sree Gokulam Medical College Hospital & Research Foundation is a 750 bedded multi speciality hospital where students are placed for clinical experience. Besides, college has other affiliated hospitals like, District Hospital Nedumangadu, Mental Health Centre, Peroorkada, Trivandrum for providing clinical experience. College assists in placement of successful students through campus selection in reputed hospital in Pune, Mumbai & Delhi. Recently college has tied up international academy for OET training for passed out students.
