Government College Of Nursing, S S K M Hospital Campus was established in the year 1974.General Nursing and Midwifery, BSc Nursing, BSc Nursing (condensed) and MSc Nursing are offered by the Nursing Training School and College of Nursing in the Campus. The College is affiliated to WBNC (West Bengal Nursing Council) and WBUHS (West Bengal University of Health Sciences) with the annual intake of 65 seats for BSc nursing. The College is approved by Indian nursing council (INC). The College has well infrastructure including furnished and ventilated classrooms, internet facility, modern computer lab, library with wide collection of books, journals, magazines, national and international reference materials etc.. The teaching faculties are experienced & dedicated and create a friendly atmosphere with the students. The College excel the students to become professional by the way of providing fundamental of nursing lab, pre-clinical science lab, community health nursing lab, MCH lab, advance skill lab etc.. The range of healthy meals and snacks that provide in college canteen. The College provide comfortable atmosphere for the hostellers as they are away from home. Hostel warden has the control over the students.
