The Department of Nursing was established in year 2016 with its 1st batch of B.Sc. Nursing students with 60 annual intake. Department of Nursing encourage female education, to help students to acquire technical and scientific knowledge and skills in nursing profession. Aliah University started in the academic year 2008 - 2009 as per Aliah University act 2007.

Aliah University started in the academic year 2008 - 2009 as per Aliah University act 2007.The Department of Nursing is affiliated with West Bengal Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. It is under the academic control of Aliah University. For admission, the candidates must qualify in Aliah University Entrance Examination (AUAT) & have minimum 17 years & maximum 27 years. All classrooms are well furnished and ventilated. Nursing Laboratories includes Nursing Foundation, Nutrition, Anatomy & A.V. Aids, Community Health Nursing, MCH, Computer. Well furnished Auditorium which uses modernized technologies and equipments. College has a canteen which serve quality food, snacks, juices for refreshments. College has its own 2 buses for providing transportation facilities. Hostel facilities are provided with safe drinking water and adequate sanitary / toilet, hand washing facilities.
