Red Crescent College of Nursing was established in 2010 and started Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree course with an intake of 50 BSc Nursing Students. The College is located at Feroke in Kozhikkode district. The College has adequate infrasructure, well equipped laboratories, adequate transport facilities , catering, library with latest editions of both national and International text books and journal publications. Students were trained by well qualified experienced faculty, hands on training in performing procedures and continuous clinical supervision in both parent and affiliated hospitals. Students got 100% results in exams conducted by Kerala University of health sciences, Thrissur. Red Crescent Hospital, Feroke, Calicut, Kerala is a 270 bedded Multi Specialty Hospital run by Al-Irshad Charitable Society . It is located in 3 acres of land beside NH 17 (Cochin Calicut Highway), just 10 Kms from Calicut Airport . It was started on 7th February1994 and has gradually grown into a large Multi Specialty Hospital of High standard. The aim of the hospital is to give expert care at reasonable cost, which means to give the ultra modern hospital care and facilities to common people. The Hospital has become a major referral hospital in this area.
