MIMS college of Nursing was established in the year 2003 at Puthukode in Malappuram district with first batch of BSc Nursing having an intake of 60 BSc Nursing seats. Later MSc Nursing was started in the year 2009 having an intake of 23 BSc Nursing seats. Bachelor of Science in Nursing abbreviated as B. Sc Nursing is a basic undergraduate nursing program to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives to provide comprehensive nursing care (promotive, preventive curative, and rehabilitative care) to individuals and family in any setting including primary to quaternary nursing services. They can also be patient educators, nurse administrators and nurse educators of schools of nursing. The College provide all requirements to the students as per University norms. Hostel facilities are provided for the students.
