Gem College of Nursing is approved by the Tamil Nadu Government, The Indian Nursing Council, The Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council and is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Initially the annual intake was 50 for B. Sc Nursing program and it was increased to 60 from the academic year 2017 – 2018. The Post Basic B. Sc Nursing program was started in the academic year 2012 – 2013 The College has 6 spacious classrooms which well lighted and well ventilated with comfortable seating . The hostel is situated In the same Campus. It Provides a safe and comfortable stay for the students who are monitored 24 Hours by a residential warden.
