Sons Charitable Trust, Coimbatore was established in 1970 .The College of Nursing, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences was established in 1986 by S.N.R Sons Charitable Trust to promote quality in Nursing Education. It is the first Self-Financing Nursing College in Tamil Nadu, India and completed its 29 years of excellence in nursing education.

The Shree Ramakrishna College of Nursing has grown since and now offers five courses. The Shree Ramakrishna College of Nursing offers 2 Courses : 4 years BSc Nursing & 2 years MSc Nursing. BSc Nursing has an intake of 100 seats and MSc Nursing has an intake of 30 seats. The Shree Ramakrishna college of Nursing is affiliated to Dr. M.G.R Medical University , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council (TNNMC). The Shree Ramakrishna College of Nursing contains all requirements as per INC norms. The Shree Ramakrishna College of Nursing is well established with spacious classrooms , modern Computer lab , libraries , experienced & dedicated faculty etc..
