A K G Memorial College of Nursing was started in the year 2008 by A K G Memorial Co - Operative Hospital with an aim to mold a new generation with knowledge , skill & caring attitude towards others. The College is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & Allied Sciences (KUHAS) , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNC).

Vision of the institution is to establish a nursing institute of international standard for providing high quality education and to build up dedicating nursing professionals. They can work in various roles such as nurse educator, nurse practitioner, nurse clinician and so on. The college maintains well equipped laboratories and library to provide access to excellent information resources, services to active in lifelong learning.
