Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing, Karaikal was established in the year 2004, with the BSc (N) course. The college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and The Tamilnadu State Nurses and Midwives Council.
Vinayaka Mission’s College of Nursing, Karaikal was established in the year 2004, with the BSc (N) course. The MSc (N) programme was started in the year 2009, with five departments . Later GNM course was started in the year 2012. The college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and The Tamilnadu State Nurses and Midwives Council. The Hospital consists of 13 clinical departments with all facilities. Super specialty clinics such as cardiology, neurology and neuro-surgery, oncology, Plastic surgery, Paediatric surgery, urology, are available. For the security and added comfort, the college provide buses for the transportation of our students. The College Library is fully equipped with numerous books and journals, E-library and E-journals are available for students. All laboratories are well equipped with supplies & equipments. The well maintained labs include Nursing Foundation Lab., Anatomy Lab., Microbiology Lab., Biochemistry Lab., Nutrition Lab, Community Lab., maternal and child health Lab., and Computer Lab etc.
