Vijaya Health Care Academic Society College of Nursing is located at Rangareddy District, Telangana. The college was established in the year of 2006. The Vijaya Health Care Academic Society College of Nursing is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, approved by INC and Telangana Nursing council.
The college offers courses such as; BSc Nursing of 4 years with an intake of 50, GNM of 3 years with an intake of 45 and Post Basic BSc Nursing of 2 years with an intake of 30. The college has the facilities such as well infrastructured classrooms, laboratories, IT facilities, Hostel, Cafeteria, etc. The college is with well experienced faculty. Nurses advocate for the best interests of the patients at all times and focus on holistic health, which encompasses the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. They are also involved in the treatment decision-making process to represent the patient’s situation and make recommendations, if required. The majority of nurses work in a hospital environment and provide medical care to patients with illnesses in this environment. However, there are various other possible workplaces of a nurse, including residential care homes, in-home care services, governmental services, military, schools, and research facilities.
