The Society of St. Joseph Hospital was established in the year 1989 and the School of Nursing was started in the year 1997. St. Joseph’s College of Nursing was commenced in the year 2011 with an annual intake of 40 BSc Nursing students. The college is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi as well as the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council. St. Joseph’s College of Nursing has an annual intake of 40 seats for BSc Nursing and 50 seats for GNM. The college has own hospital named St. Joseph Hospital. Hospital has 150 beds with facilities for Medical, Surgical, Obstetrics & Genecology, Pediatric, Orthopedics, Burns, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental, ICCU, ICU and NICU services. St. Joseph’s College of Nursing has well equipped operation theatres, laboratory, blood bank and pathology, pharmacy, X-Ray and ultrasound departments. The teaching faculties are experienced and professionals. Highly qualified faculties are conducting the classes. St. Joseph’s College of Nursing has a spacious auditorium which conducts regular workshop and seminar. Good spacious library is functioning in St. Joseph’s College of Nursing campus having large number of books, reference materials, research books, records, journals and magazines etc. are available in the college campus. Separate hostel facilities are also provided. Hostel warden has the control over the students.
