The St. Ann’s School of Nursing was established in 1974 by the Sisters of St. Ann . Later on 2011, BSc Nursing programme started having an intake of 50 seats. The College is affiliated to Dr MGR medical University , approved by INC and TNNMC.

The College is affiliated to Dr. MGR medical University , approved by INC and TNNMC. The classrooms are very spacious. It is airy and well ventilated. It has 4 ceiling fans in it which are sufficient for all the students sitting inside the room .The lab of the College is highly maintained and equipped with all the useful equipment that a student will need to work on and improve their skills. The library is wi-fi enabled unit with seating capacity for about 150 readers. Well – stocked and presently having a collection of over 6000 volumes on different subjects. Students are provided clinical training at Sacred Heart Hospital. Sacred Heart Hospital is a general hospital with some 250 licensed beds, bays and treatment spaces. The College has an auditorium which is very extensive, and it can situate many students. Well-furnished hostels for ladies with four – bedded occupancy rooms are available.
