The school of Nursing came into existence in 2001 with an intake of 50 students of GNM. The College is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & Government of Punjab.
The school of Nursing came into existence in 2001 with an intake of 50 students of GNM. The college of Nursing came into existence with an intake of 50 students of B. Sc Nursing and of 2008, the number of seats has been increased to 100. The College of Nursing has also started Post Basic B. Sc Nursing Course with an intake of 40 seats in 2010 and from 2011 M. Sc Nursing was started with an intake of 20 seats (4 in each specialty-Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing). The College is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & Government of Punjab. The institution has a highly qualified and experienced Faculty. The college has well-equipped laboratories of Fundamentals of Nursing, Nutrition, Maternal and Child Health with latest equipment. Laboratories of Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Microbiology of Medical College are also used for B.Sc. Nursing Students. There is a well-equipped separate Library for Nursing Students with all the modern Facilities. The Library has got more than 5000 books and 40 National & International Nursing Journals.
