Sri Chaitanya College of Nursing was established in the year 2005 under Swathi Group of Institutions. Swathi Group of Institutions was started in the year 1988 initially with General Nursing and MPHW Program with intake of 50 seats to train young students as devoted proficient nurses. Later Sri Krishna School of Nursing was started under Swathi group in 2005. During the year 2005-2006 Sri Chaitanya College of Nursing offering BSc Nursing Program, was established. The College is affiliated to Dr YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and is approved by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and Indian Nursing Council. The Institutions are clinically attached to 750 bedded Government Medical College Hospital, Tirupati. The College has all facilities including laboratories, spacious classrooms, library, canteen etc as per the University norms. Hostel facilities are provided for the Students. Also the College had organized campus interviews & arranging posting in various reputed Hospitals and colleges throughout India.
