Shree Mookambika College of Nursing was established in the year 1997 at Kanyakumari District in Tamil Nadu. The College offers BSc Nursing , Post Basic BSc Nursing , MSc Nursing. BSc Nursing started in the year 1997 with an intake of 100 students. MSc Nursing was started in the year 2002 with an intake of 30 students. Post Basic BSc Nursing was started in the year 2002 with an intake of 20 seats. The College is affiliated to Dr MGR Medical University , approved by INC and TNNMC. The College has well furnished laboratories in all departments. The 2000 Sq. ft. library is designed with plenty of natural light with an ambiance to support peaceful individual as well as group study, and recreational reading. The air-conditioned auditorium is 60,000 sq ft in size, with a large stage, and a 2500 seating capacity. There are 6 hostels on campus 3 separate for female UG students, CRRI and post graduates. Similarly, there are 3 hostels for male students, all under the care of a warden and individual caretaker for each hostel building. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals will be served in the hostel. Both indoor and outdoor games are encouraged for the development of well-balanced, young medical graduates. There is a spacious gymnasium with a well experienced health instructor.
