In the year 1992, Ultra trust had started Sacred Heart Nursing College for Nursing, with an annual intake of 50. The educational programme is approved by the State Government, as well as by the Apex body Indian Nursing Council, and Tamilnadu Nursing Council and the Under-Graduate and Postgraduate courses are affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

College has all facilities including various laboratories , library , transportation facility , hostel , hospital etc. The library is constructed in such a way so as to facilitate students learning. The library comprises of reading rooms, journal section, facilitates for photocopying with good collection of latest edition of books and Journals of both Indian and foreign. Separate hostels for girls and boys are provided with good food and accommodation. Recreational facilities such as television and facilities for indoor games are provided. The Sacred College of Nursing gives Placement assistance to the Students. Students are placed worldwide like India, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, London, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and so on after their successful completion of their Bachelor (or) Master degree. Some of the institutions are ULTRA MISSION HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH CENTER, APOLLO HOSPITALS , CHRISTIAN MEDICAL COLLEGE, VELLORE , VADAMALAYAN HOSPITAL, MADURAI , VIJAYA HOSPITAL, CHENNAI CITY HOSPITAL, MADURAI and few institutions in Karnataka, Andhra and Kerala.
