Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College was established in the year 1955 inaugurated by then Prime Minister, Honorable Late Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru. The college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University. The college is approved by Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council. College provides 4 year BSc nursing programme having an intake of 100 seats. For admission, candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board. The college provides education for various nursing and paramedical courses. It has a medical hospital on campus which provide clinical training in this teaching hospital along with various allied hospital like Cancer Hospital, Pediatric Hospital, Spine injury Centre, ART Centre, Orthopedic Block etc. College has well infrastructure including furnished classrooms, internet facility, modern computer lab, library with wide collection of books, journals, reference books of national and international authors, journals, magazines and daily published newspapers are also provided. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Each hostel has warden who are responsible for the activities of the students.
