North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute Of Health & Med Sc. N E I G R I H M S College Of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS was stablished in the year 1987. It was registered as a Society on the 12th of January, 1987 by the Registrar of Societies, Meghalaya. The College of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong is affiliated to North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi. The college started the B.Sc.(Nursing) course in the state of Meghalaya in July 2006 with an annual intake of 50 students per annum. Now, the college is offering M.Sc.(Nursing) in various specialties of Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health (Paediatric) Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing. NEIGRIHMS, Shillong college of nursing classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids and provided with comfort and safe environment for learning. College of Nursing provides transportation facilities to the students for conveyance, clinical training and community visits etc. Hostel facilities are provided for the students with hygienic food and water.
