Lala Lajpat Rai Institute Of Nursing Education was established in the year 1953. The College offers 4 year BSc Nursing course having an intake of 50 seats. The College is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi & Government of Punjab. The mission of the College is to provide the young prospective nurses with an environment conducive for higher education and research. Hostel blocks have a distinctive structure and style with functional interior spaces. The class rooms are well ventilated, spacious, and well-furnished. The campus is well-equipped with laboratories including Anatomy, Lab, Nursing foundation lab, Nutrition lab, and community Health Nursing lab, Maternity and Child health lab. The library is nourished with 1092 titles, 1321 volumes, 165 bound back volumes, 10 journals, many number of CDs, Video Cassettes, Photo Albums, etc. Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls. Girls hostel is within the campus premise. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with good ventilation and properly lit.
