Nursing program was started in 2007 with an annual intake of 40 seats. Index Nursing College has rich library with more than 7,853 books and has 15 National and International hard copy journals as well as 136 e-journals. The college has 1100 bedded Medical college hospital and research center for clinical practice. The auditorium which is air conditioned and has the seating capacity of around 500 individuals. College has different laboratories includes Advanced Practical Lab, Nursing Foundation Lab, Obstetrical and Gynecological Nursing and Pediatric Lab, Community Health Nursing Lab, Nutrition Lab, Computer Lab, Preclinical Science Lab, Audi-visual Aids Room. Students get the facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports. Other recreational facilities like Gym, TV, LCD Projector, Wi-Fi etc. are provided. Separate hostels for boys and girls with shared accommodation are available and the hostel rooms are spacious and clean with attached bathrooms. Each room is furnished with beds, study tables, chairs, 24 hours water supply and power supply etc..
