Govt College of Nursing , Pariyaram , Kannur was established in the year 2002 under Pariyaram Medical College Hospital with an annual intake of 60 BSc Nursing students. The campus is affiliated to Kerala University of Health & Allied Health Science (KUHAS) , approved by Indian Nursing council (INC) and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council (KNC).

The college is furnished with well equipped laboratories , furnished classrooms , library with wide collection of books and journals . Separate hostels are provided for boys & girls inside the campus. The teaching faculties are well experienced and dedicated and keep a friendly behaviour with the students. Proper clinical training are given to the students at parent hospital and it helps the students to improve their approach towards the patients.
