Bankura Sammilani Trust was established in the year 1911 as a part of Swaraj movement. Bankura Sammilani Medical School & Hospital in the year 1922. The College is affiliated to WBNC(West Bengal Nursing Council) and WBUHS(West Bengal University of Health Sciences) with the annual intake of 60 seats for BSc nursing. The College is approved by Indian nursing council (INC). All classroom are equipped with modem teaching aids and provided with comfort and safe environment for learning. The College has various facilities including study materials, books and models, charts, instruments, sound system, computers and different types of furniture are provided. Library with wide collection of books, journals, magazines, national and international reference materials etc.. Clinical training given to the students in parent hospital Bankura Sammilani Medical School & Hospital. The College of Nursing provides 24*7 CCTV surveillance facilities for the safety of students. The teaching faculties are experienced & dedicated and create a friendly atmosphere with the students. Separate hostel facilities are provided boys and girls with specious, ventilated, furnished, clean and hygienic rooms with the facilities of separate hygienic toilet with hot & cold running water. Hostel warden has the control over the students.
