The School of Nursing GNM and ANM programme started 2011, BSc Nursing program started at 2022 and the Post Basic programme started at 2020. The College is recognized by the Odisha Nursing Council and affiliated to Utkal University. The College has well qualified & experienced faculties, including HODs for all the specialities and well-equipped labs like the Foundations of Nursing lab, Nutrition lab, Community Health Nursing lab, Computer lab, MCH lab, Audio Visual Aids lab, Preclinical Science lab and Library with enough reading facilities. GIMSAR multi-speciality hospital is the parent hospital. It is a 200-bed Multi- speciality Hospital. Included 50 ICU general Medicine, OBG, ENT, Dental, Pediatrics, and Critical care unit, along with MRI, CT, Digital Laboratory, Dialysis unit, and Ambulance service. GIMSAR College and School of Nursing is attached with Nursing Hostel. Well-furnished rooms, smart tv and recreational facilities are provided for the students.
