Gita Ram hospital started official functioning in the year 2018 by the founder Sri Pankaj Chowdhury to address the need for prepared nurses. Gita Ram College of Nursing was established in the year 2019 with BSc. Nursing and Post Basic BSc for to produce the best nursing professionals. Gita ram College Of Nursing is affiliated to West Bengal Nursing Council and WBUHS(West Bengal University of Health Sciences). The College is approved by Indian Nursing Council. Gita Ram School and College of Nursing are housed in a spacious building and classrooms are equipped with a whiteboard with overhead projectors and LCD projectors. Building with centralized air conditioning, 10 lecture halls, 7 laboratories, conference rooms, and a multipurpose hall. The College has a spacious library and has the necessary learning resources to encourage research, knowledge and skill. The library is kept up to date with the most recent textbooks and journals. Library has a seating capacity of 150 students and has more than 2500 books. Separate hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls within the campus for the students. The hostel also has Beds with bed boxes, cupboards, tables with chairs, 24-hour water supply, electricity, safe waste disposal, laundry, and hot water supply. Television room, reading area and indoor game facilities are also available
