Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, formerly known as Willingdon Hospital, was established by the British for their staff and had only 54 beds. After independence, its control was shifted to New Delhi Municipal Committee.

After independence, its control was shifted to New Delhi Municipal Committee. The College was established in the year 2015 as a co - educational Institution. The hospital has grown over the years and is currently having about 1532 beds, spread over in 30 acres of land. . All supportive services like laboratory, X - Ray, CT-Scan, Ultrasound, Blood Bank and Ambulances are available round the clock. The lecture halls of the institute is fully equipped with audio visual aids such as LCD, OHP, Slides, Models, Charts etc. The Library, has a wealth of books, periodicals and journals to its credit. Students are allotted library hours for self study and research purpose. The laboratories are completely equipped with items required as per in Norms. All the laboratories are constructed with compatibility and adequate space to accommodate students during their practical hours. Students are provided Clinical training at own Parent Hospital. The Hospital provides placement opportunity for students to pursue their careers after successful completion of their courses. The College also has a placement in other reputed hospitals and conducts regular training. The Campus backed with its own transportation facility for the students to support during their academic courses
