College of Nursing, Chengalpattu Medical College was located at Chengalpattu district in Tamil Nadu. To begin with, this institution had an annual admission of 50 students, which was maintained till 2012. 100 students were admitted from the academic year 2012-13 onwards. This 50-years old institution was the 6th of its kind to be started in Tamil Nadu.

This 50-years old institution was the 6th of its kind to be started in Tamil Nadu. Girls students were first admitted in the year 1970 and the first batch of M. B. B. S. graduated from the college in 1972. The College of Nursing is affiliated to Dr. M.G.R Medical University , approved by INC & TNC. The College, hospital buildings and its hostels are located in a sprawling Campus of 240 acres at high grounds in Chengalpattu, in the district of Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. The College campus is located within two kms of the Chengalpattu Railway Station junction, Intercity Bus Station and 30 KM from International Airport. Separate hostel facilities are available for girls & boys. Also hygienic food is delivered in the hostel.
