The Chinmaya Institute of Nursing was started in the year 1986 and upgraded with B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) Programme in the academic year 2009-2010.The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, approved by INC and KNC.
Chinmaya Institute of Nursing under the Karnataka Chinmaya Seva Trust functions under the overall control of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust and believes in the principle “Service to Mankind is Service to God”. The Chinmaya Institute of Nursing was started in the year 1986 and upgraded with B.Sc. The Institution has well furnished, bright and spacious building with adequate number of Lecture halls and Seminar room equipped with modern teaching aids. The Institute Laboratories are spacious, well ventilated and filled with adequate & modern equipments for practice in Anatomy & Physiology, Fundamental of Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Computer & Audio Visual Aids, Nutrition, MCH, Biochemistry & Microbiology Labs. The Library is well ventilated, Spacious and furnished with Computer and adequate chairs and tables. Hostel is the safe nest for students who are away from home. The Hostel is build with good infrastructure and basic amenities like, adequately furnished rooms, 24 hours Water Facility, Generator back up for electricity, spacious dining hall, provision of Sick room in case any student gets sick.
