The Diploma is awarded by the South India Branch of the Board of Nursing Education of the Nurses League, CMAI. The B. Sc Nursing program was started in 2012 and degree is awarded by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. Both the program are approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, recognized by Indian Nursing Council(INC) and Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council (TNNMC). The annual intake is 40 students in each program. Clinical training is given at C S I Kalyani General Hospital. This hospital is one of the oldest and popular voluntary health organizations in the city of Chennai, started as a small hospital with 24 beds for women and children by the Methodist Missionary Society in 1909.Now, the hospital is a full pledged multispecialty hospital with the capacity of 220 beds which meets the health needs of the community in and around Chennai, which the mission undertook almost 109 years ago. Hostel facilities are available to the students. Students should stay in the hostel. The Day scholars are allowed as per norms of the Institution. The residents of the hostel are required to follow the rules and regulations in order to maintain discipline of the hostel. The students will be under the supervision of the Principal with the help of the warden and tutors. Misconduct of any student will be reported to the parents or guardian and appropriate action will be taken according to the regulations of the Institution.
