Bon Secours College for women located at Kancheepuram district in Tamil Nadu was instituted by the Franciscan sisters of Bon Secours, a Religious Congregation dedicated to uplift the downtrodden, especially women. Ever since its inception, it has been a beacon, guiding and promoting the educational interests of the poor and the downtrodden women.

Ever since its inception, it has been a beacon, guiding and promoting the educational interests of the poor and the downtrodden women. The college started in the year 2002 with a meagre strength of 50 students. Now the college has grown in leaps and bounds with a total strength of the 4444 students. The College is affiliated to Dr. M.G.R Medical University , approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council (TNNMC). The vision of the College is to transform the women learners, especially the rural women to be physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and morally healthy and to empower them to meet the challenges of the world tomorrow. The College provides hostel facilities to the students who are far away from the College. Also hygienic food is served in the hostel.
