BLDEA established BLDEA's School of Nursing in 1990. It was further upgraded and renamed Shri B.M. Patil Institute of Nursing Sciences in 1998. The College is recognized by the Government of Karnataka, KNC and INC, New Delhi & affiliated with RGUHS, Bangalore. The institute aims to provide students with a balanced curriculum that combines theory, practice, and orientation to modern medical practices. The library is well-stocked with numerous journals, textbooks and literature collections. The campus is wifi - enabled and has a quiet environment with all conveniences such as banking, ATM, internet and a clean cafeteria. Besides academics, co - curricular activities are conducted in the Campus for the students to perform according to their pesonal talents. There are separate hostels for male and female students. Hostel provides clean accommodation, adequate water, hygienic food and proper security.
