B.P. PODDAR & PARVATI DEVI ACADEMY OF NURSING is established as a "Centre Of Excellence" to educate students for the diverse opportunities offered by careers in nursing. The institute affiliated with The West Bengal University of Health Sciences and approved by Indian Nursing council. The college has 4 year B Sc nursing course with an annual intake of 60 seats and has 3 year GNM diploma course. Candidate with Science who has passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually. All the faculties are dedicated and experienced in their respective fields. Nurses are taking an active role in patient care and are developing new skills, such as nurse prescribing, as well as becoming specialists in particular therapeutic areas. College has well infrastructure including furnished classrooms, internet facility, modern computer lab, library with wide collection of books, journals, reference books of national and international authors, journals, magazines and daily published newspapers are also provided. Hostel facilities are also provided for the students. Hostel warden has the control over the students.
